The staff of The Opportunity Agenda is composed of a diverse group of professionals who, together, bring experience and expertise in the areas of communications, research, policy, advocacy, law, fundraising, and administration.

Alan Jenkins, Executive Director, Co-FounderBefore joining The Opportunity Agenda, Alan was Director of Human Rights at the Ford Foundation, managing over $50 million in grant making annually in the United States and eleven overseas regions. Previously, he served as Assistant to the Solicitor General at the U.S. Department of Justice. Prior to that, he was Associate Counsel to the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc., where he defended the rights of low-income communities suffering from exploitation and discrimination.

Jason P. Drucker, Ph.D., Director of Development and OperationsJason joined The Opportunity Agenda after supporting development for a number of non-profit organizations in New York City including the Rudolf Steiner School, the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU School of Law, and the Legal Action Center. In this capacity, his work has included strategic planning, overseeing the annual fund and special events, capital and endowment giving, foundation relations and major gifts.

Julie Rowe, Director of CommunicationsJulie works with a variety of non-profit staff on communication strategy, messaging, framing and media outreach. She has worked in communications for non-profits on a range of issues including affordable housing, community development, family support, immigration, and the arts. At Prevent Child Abuse America, Julie worked on a project to reframe child abuse prevention and family support messaging for the organization’s network of state and local programs.

Juhu Thukral, Director of Law and AdvocacyJuhu has been an advocate for the rights of low-income and immigrant women in the areas of economic justice, criminal justice, and sexual health and rights for over 15 years. Previously, she was the Director of the Sex Workers Project at the Urban Justice Center and developed programmatic initiatives around sex work and human rights, trafficking in persons and economic justice. Before this, Juhu was a Staff Attorney in the Urban Justice Center’s Family Violence Project.

Eleni Delimpaltadaki, Opinion and Media Research CoordinatorEleni specializes in communications, legislative and electoral strategies, and public opinion research. In addition to serving as deputy campaign manager for a number of New York State political campaigns, she has conducted extensive polling for candidates in the East Coast. Eleni has also served as a consultant to labor unions and public policy groups, including BALCONY, the Business and Labor Coalition of New York, on issues such as health care, labor standards and tax equity. She previously worked as a reporter for foreign media outlets.

Micky Hingorani, Web StrategistMicky most recently worked at Doctors Without Borders in their Communications department. His work consisted of research and writing for their print publications and working on an assortment of projects for their website. Prior to this Micky worked on the marketing of a blog produced jointly by the Century Foundation and the Center for American Progress. Micky is also pursuing his doctoral degree in Global Affairs at Rutgers University. His dissertation focuses on the impact of the internet on political organizations.

Kevin Hsu, Associate Counsel and Robert L. Carter FellowKevin works with non-profit advocate partners to center health reform efforts around the values of equity, opportunity, and human rights through advocacy, legislation, and capacity-building efforts. At Georgetown Law, Kevin served as Editor-in-Chief of the Georgetown Journal on Poverty Law & Policy. He also worked on transit equity litigation as a law clerk at Public Advocates, Inc. in San Francisco, and was a law clerk in the Special Litigation Division of the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia.

Ross Mudrick, Grant Writing AssociateRoss has provided strategic development consulting to a wide variety of New York non-profits, including Northside Center for Child Development, Jewish Association for Services for the Aged (JASA), and Issue Project Room. His background in advocacy and strategic communications includes work on campaign finance reform, young voter turnout, and a number of state and local electoral campaigns in San Francisco and Wisconsin.

Allie Nudelman, Office and Executive AssistantAllie began at The Opportunity Agenda as a Century Foundation intern, where she researched issues pertaining to health care access and equity in New York, and she continues to provide support for their health policy agendas. Prior to The Opportunity Agenda, she assisted the development department with fundraising and special events at NARAL New York. She has also worked as a researcher for New York University Medical Center, where she investigated the effectiveness of cardiopulmonary rehabilitation programs.

Kisha Parks, Office and Fiscal ManagerKisha brings brings over ten years of experience in accounting, human resources and office administration in both the non-profit and private sectors to her new role at the Opportunity Agenda. Kisha spent five years in Workplace Financial Services at JP Morgan Chase Bank before leaving to serve as Finance/Payroll Manager for the non-profit Dance Theater Workshop in Manhattan. Most recently, she handled human resources and general accounting for a software development firm in Atlanta, Georgia.

Tony Stephens, Communications AssociateTony provides strategic media relations support and coordination of many of the events and projects undertaken by the Communications Department. A former journalist, he worked in print and radio throughout much of the 1990s. He has over 11 years experience as a communications professional in the non profit sector, which includes seven years working with faith-based organizations. Prior to joining The Opportunity Agenda, Tony was a communications Consultant in New York City, focusing on broadcast and social media.

Alicia Williamson, Development OfficerAlicia previously served as development coordinator for a Pennsylvania civil rights organization. Her work included grants management, special event planning, and individual donor administration. Alicia has worked with a number of nonprofit advocacy organizations targeting issues such as civil liberties, domestic violence, employment discrimination, reproductive rights, and safeguarding elections. Alicia holds a law degree from City University of New York School of Law, where she served as a member of the New York Law Review.
